BattenKill Canoe Package
In our backyard is the BattenKill, one of the nation’s
outstanding streams and just about perfect all-around
river. Famous the world over for trout fishing and
paddling, it rises in the Green Mountains, flows
through some of the most beautiful countryside
in southern
Vermont and passes under four covered bridges on
its way to the Hudson river. Join our friends at
BattenKill
Canoe for day trips where you can paddle for an hour
or all day and then be shuttled back to your starting
point.

Back Road Tours
Enjoy the beauty and splendor of Southern Vermont with a back road tour customized
to your liking. Photo and video opportunities will be plentiful as we explore
the many places of interest in this quaint, yet historically significant,
area. Our intimate knowledge of the places to which will we journey shall
provide for many captivating commentaries. Frequent stops may be made at
your request and we encourage you to ask questions as we go along. If you'd
like, a picnic lunch can be planned into the day. The Back Road Tour is especially
scenic during the Fall Foilage season. Pickett Hill also offers a Moose Safari
in to the back country for special photo oprutunities.

Covered Bridges
Visit the covered bridges of Bennington County and enjoy
the relaxing experience that only a trip through the
New England countryside can bring. You will visit five
uniquely different bridges, get a brief description
of each bridge, and be provided a photo op. The tour
lasts about 2.5 hours and is suited for a minimum of
two to a maximum of six people. We begin at Silk Road
and finish at Chiselville. At the third bridge (Henry),
fresh spring water, non alcoholic beverages, and assorted
snacks will be offered, which is included in the tour
fee. The bridges we visit shall include: Silk Road,
Paper Mill, Henry, West Arlington, and the Chiselville,
the hardest of all to engineer and build. The tour
will also include a stop at the Sugar Shack where you
will receive a 10% discount on any items.
